To a degree, though, I’ll be perfectly honest with you, I’ve never had anything but an imitation of real New York-style pizza. Never actually had it, you know, in New York.
A lot of Chicagoans will tell you that deep dish pizza is only for tourists, but one place, Pequod’s has the best pizza I’ve ever eaten, hands down. And Giordano’s is really good, too.
I have never heard an argument over pizza come even kind of close to the BBQ arguments I’ve heard in my life, though.
